From the head torches category: The hands-free option for Atex Zone 2/22 lighting, this intrinsically safe headtorch delivers a 280 lumen high power beam or a 60 lumen low light beam. A simple pull/push of the lamp head and either beam can be focused for spot (distance) or flood (near) illumination via the patented advanced focusing optics technology that Ledlenser is renowned for. The light beam is easily directed within a 55° beam angle to where it is most required and the switch has been specifically designed to be easy to operate, even with padded work gloves on and the detachable, washable head band is extremely comfortable to wear. The iLH8 also features a anti-slip coating on the inside of the head band to prevent it from slipping on helmets. A removable overhead strap adds extra stability if required and a rear red safety light acts as a positional marker for co-workers. The IP66 rating gives this headlamp a high protection level against dust and water ingression and the zone 2/22 classification means this unit can be safely used in which an explosive atmosphere consisting of a mixture with air of dangerous substances in the form of gas, vapour or mist is likely to occur in normal operation occasionally. It can also be used in a place in which an explosive atmosphere in the form of a cloud of combustible dust in air is not likely to occur in normal operation but, if it does occur, will persist for a short period only. The iLH8 is powered from 3xAA batteries (supplied) and a 7-year with registration warranty adds complete peace of mind.
