From the hobs category: The Bosch Induction Hob is designed for efficiency and safety by generating heat only in the base of the pan ensuring that the surrounding area remains cool to prevent burns. This type of hob can bring two liters of water to a boil twice as fast as a glass-ceramic hob resulting in significant energy savings. Featuring four cooking zones the hob includes Touch Select control for easy regulation of each zone's power level. The power boost function provides an ultra-fast heating burst boiling large quantities of water approximately 35% faster than the highest power level. The quick start feature detects the pot's location and automatically activates the corresponding zone allowing immediate cooking. Additionally the re-start function retains the last selected settings for a short period if the hob is turned off.
